Weekend Game Plan & Schedule Adjustments

Dear Coaches, Parents, and Players,

As always, our goal is to provide the best possible experience for the kids while ensuring safety remains a top priority. This weekend will be no different.

Some will appreciate the effort we put in to make baseball happen, while others may not understand the challenges of dealing with unpredictable weather. The easy option would be to cancel the entire weekend, but that’s not how we operate. We never cancel unless absolutely necessary, and we always put in the extra work to make it happen.

Schedule Adjustments & Game Plan

Brackets will come down tonight as we completely redo the schedules for both pool play and bracket play.

New schedules will be posted by lunchtime tomorrow (Friday).

Current forecasts indicate bad weather arriving around 3:00 PM on Saturday, so we are adjusting accordingly.

Revised Tournament Format

Saturday: We will complete half of pool play before the weather moves in.

Sunday: We will finish pool play and go straight into a single elimination bracket.

All games will be 1-hour, no drop dead time.

Pitching rules remain the same – kids still get their normal innings.

Expect longer wait times between games due to adjustments.

While this may not feel like a typical OTC Sports tournament, we are committed to delivering the experience you’ve come to know and love.
